We want to break free from the prejudices and stigma associated with nationalism. Prioritising the interests of one's own people is not a shameful value, but a natural starting point for responsible politics. We believe that one must put one's own house in order before being able to sustainably help others.
Community is at the core of our movement. We want to restore a culture of respectful dialogue to politics and bring people together across party lines. Differing opinions are not an obstacle but precisely the starting point for dialogue and, through it, for finding common solutions.
We are committed to realistic and transparent action. Every promise we make is designed to be genuinely achievable. We believe that goals aligned with our values can be effectively advanced through careful deliberation and with practicality in mind.
Sillanrakentajat (The Bridge Builders) is a political movement founded in 2026 that believes in the power of moderate and long-term politics. We were born from the need to bring stability, deliberation and a constructive attitude to Finnish decision-making.
Our starting point is realism: we don't promise more than we can deliver, but we promise what is essential — the use of reason, deliberation and practical solutions. We want long-term thinking in politics: lasting solutions that build bridges and restore respect and reflection to public discourse.
